Well we were thinking of a project to get the pixel community all hyped up and back on track. So I decided to make a Community Project.

We will all make segments for a (hopefully very long) pixel totem pole. But to make it work I'm going to need yall's support If you're remotely good at pixelling, I want YOU! Here's how it works:



As you can see above you are given a wooden segment. "Carve" it into something nice. It doesn't have to be a face. It can be an animal. It can be squiggles for all I care but make it interesting, detailed, and please put some effort into whatever you do. Now I've given you a pallette, you can use all of those shades of brown. Please dont use a bunch of other colors, we want it to be small for GIF optimizing. Once we have all of the segments finished, we will stack them ontop of eachother so that it makes a very long totem pole! Pretty exciting, huh?

Well... yeah that's basically it. Community project.. hmm.. yeah. I hope this becomes big! And I also hope a lot of very talented pixel artists join in and help the pixel community too

Click here to see the bottom of the totem.. it's really awesome. The top has already been made, so stop asking "can mine be the top" because you know what the answer is It's a combination of 3 totems that were too thin and frail to hold up the rest.
